What to Expect from Your First Visit
During your first appointment, we will complete a comprehensive exam. It will include an oral cancer screening, as well as an evaluation of your gum tissue, bone level, occlusion, radiographs, and digital photography. We will even be able to give you an idea of your decay risk. It is important to us that you see the conditions we see in your mouth. Our digital photography will allow us to show you, rather than just tell you, what is going on in your mouth.
Our goal for the initial exam is to gather information regarding your mouth, teeth, smile, and overall health so that we can customize a treatment plan just for you. For your upcoming appointment, consider the goals you have for your smile.
A new patient’s dental experience is very comprehensive; therefore, plan to be in our office for one to two hours. In consideration to all of our patients, we see patients by appointment only and make every effort to be on time. Please call in advance so that we may reserve an appointment time for you. We respectfully request two working days notice to change appointment times. |

We will mail you a New Patient Packet prior to your first appointment, or you can print them at home from here. Complete the New Patient Information Sheet, Health History, and General Information Forms, then return them to us in the self-addressed envelope before your initial exam so we can review your dental concerns before your appointment.
