When you’re in the dental chair, you will not see our tools of the trade in front of you; instead, a panoramic lake view greets your eyes. Patients tell us that the stresses of the day seem to melt away as they watch wildlife and waterfowl or see our bald eagle circling in the sky.

Periodontal disease can cause serious health consequences, let alone the premature loss of teeth. Researchers have linked the bacteria that cause periodontal disease to health problems such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and low-birth-weight babies.

• Charting and Diagnostic Services
  Early detection of gum disease allows for conservative treatment.
  Individualized treatment modalities and re-care schedules provide the best opportunity of keeping your teeth and gums in great condition.
• Modalities of therapy include:
  • Ultrasonic cleaning and scaling of calculus build-up and bacterial removal. 
  • Laser Periodontal Therapy: We use a diode laser to go into the pockets where the bad bacteria live and drastically reduce their numbers below pathologic levels.
  • Finish scaling with hand instruments.
  • Medicaments to further reduce bacteria.
  • If surgery is needed, we have a range of periodontal specialists to whom we can give individual referrals for your care.

  We’ll instruct you in your required oral homecare and monitor your efforts through individualized, regular periodontal check ups to keep your disease under control.
